Truganina, Victoria 

 

The town of Truganina is located on the banks of the Olinda River, 5km north of Colac. The settlement was established in 1879, on land formerly known as Wyndham. It was named after Victoria, the wife of George Charles, the father of William Charles, the local settler.

The town’s primary industry is viticulture and wineries are scattered throughout the area. A visit to any of the wineries in Truganina is bound to leave you with a sense of tranquility and relaxation.

The township of Truganina is situated about 18 kilometers from Bendigo and about 11 kilometers from Starburst and Truganina is a small township compared to Werribee, but it offers many amenities for the residents. It has a number of good schools, some of which are co-educational, and it has its own shopping precinct within the town. The town has a library, a petrol station, a general store and a soccer field.

There are many farms in the area and the township has a primary school. Truganina is surrounded by orchards and there is a small winery in town. Life in the Truganina area is mainly focused around the farming industry, which is an important part of the local economy. There is a vineyard in the township and there are wineries in the area. There are also a few cafes and restaurants in the town as well as a petrol station and a general store.
The Truganina area has a number of beautiful Victorian country houses, which are often well maintained and offer a great opportunity for real estate investors.

Truganina is an outer southern suburb of Melbourne, located in the local government areas of the City of Brimbank and the City ofmelbourne. It is located approximately south-east of the Melbourne central business district, south-west of the central business district and south of the regional centre of Dandenong.

It is also located south of the regional centre of Bundoora and south-west of the regional centre of Pakenham.Truganina is a primarily residential suburb in the municipality of Brimbank and the locality of Melton. It has a population of approximately 14,000 people, with a median age of approximately 40.

According to the 2016 census, the suburb of Truganina has a population of 14,224. The majority of these people (approximately 80%) are of Australian-born English-speaking background. The next largest group of people in the suburb of Truganina (approximately 17%) are of New Zealand-born English-speaking background.

The final remaining group of people in the suburb of Truganina (approximately 7%) are of Irish-born English-speaking background.
